Payment & Cancellations

This page explains how payments, scheduling and cancellations work for online lessons. Our aim is to keep everything simple, transparent and fair - so you always know exactly what to expect.

Simple, secure payments

All lesson payments are made safely online by credit or debit card via Stripe, or by bank transfer if you prefer. You’ll receive an email receipt immediately after each Stripe payment. Bank-transfer details are provided upon request.

  • Pay-as-you-go lessons: payment is made at the time of booking.

  • Lesson packages: full payment is made at the start of the 10-lesson block.

  • Follow-up lessons: individual lessons can be booked at the discounted rate once a package is complete.

All payments are processed in GBP (£).


Booking and scheduling

After your free consultation, if you decide to go ahead with lessons, payment can be made by Stripe or bank transfer. Once payment is received, your first few lesson dates (usually three) will be confirmed by email. These are normally at a regular weekly time agreed by both parties.

Future lesson dates are then arranged in small groups as the course progresses, taking account of school holidays, family commitments, and the tutor’s performing schedule. This flexible approach ensures that lessons remain regular but can adapt when necessary.


Cancellations and rescheduling

You can reschedule or cancel a lesson with at least 24 hours’ notice without charge. Simply reply to your confirmation email or use the Contact page to request a new time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are normally charged in full, except in genuine emergencies such as illness or family circumstances.


Refunds and guarantees

If you purchase a 10-lesson package and your child completes the Grade 5 Theory syllabus in fewer than 10 lessons, any unused lessons will be refunded or credited toward future tuition.

This Early Completion Guarantee gives families reassurance that you’ll only ever pay for the lessons your child genuinely needs.
